MOVEMENT AND RECITATION

It is our experience that artistic activities deepen the connection for the participants on the Parzival Seminar to the text and study work.

Movement and drama exercises connect the themes of the texts with the work on Fridays and Saturdays so that some of the episodes of the Parzival are brought to life creatively  by means of movement, speech, singing and the occasional use of instruments.

On Sundays the study and the artistic work relate to the Karma lectures given by Rudolf Steiner in 1924. These provide the substance of our exploration of the supersensible School of Michael, the history conected with it and the task of the Anthroposophical Society.  Movement exercises and recitation – for example of the Michael Imagination - enable the participants to find new ways of connecting to the work. With both playful and serious approaches we are striving for a deeper relationship to this mighty content.  Such active group work when we meet together complements the study work done individually as well.
